In Mirror's Edge, Faith has the ability to go into extreme focus, appearing to slow down time. She can go into this focused state by running at top speed for a few seconds. You can activate it after the area around the screen fades into blue momentarily. After you initiate slow motion, the screen goes into a blue hue and, naturally, everything gets slower. This is ideal for doing complex attack moves and weapon disarming.
