[edit] History

The City used to be a more harmonic place. More changes to the city like the increase of surveillance were ignored by the people, but soon people started to protest the changes. On the month of November, mass riots sparked around the city, and protesters were killed or captured by the local police.

The City is now being run by a totalitarian regime, and all forms of electronic communication is monitored. Only the Runners can pass on sensitive information safely.

[edit] Description

The City shown in Mirror's Edge is a large clean metropolis, and the majority colors in the city are Primary and secondary colors (Red, Yellow, Blue, Green, White, Orange and Purple.). Throughout the levels, it seems that the City is under constant reconstruction, with construction materials and equipment all over the areas. The vegetation in the City are also white. The appearance of Chinese, Japanese and Russian text around the City alongside English text suggests that the City is probably located in Eurasia.
